Remember the AshleyMadison.com hack that took place roughly weeks ago? Well, the hackers who stole sensitive information from the said site delivered their threat to post the data online.
A huge data dump was posted on Tuesday masked behind an Onion address accessible only through the Tor browser. The files, which is 9.7GB in size, contained log-in information, credit card information (approximately 7 years’ worth of credit card info), aliases, and even the recorded transactions that took place per account. Also included were descriptions of what members were looking for. At the time of the breach, there were close to 40 million users who were on the lookout for a quick fling in the infidelity circle.
